Our handmade soaps and shea butter skin treatments are made with the finest ingredients to pamper you naturally & treat skin ailments yet gentle enough to care for the most sensitive skin.
With health and beauty in mind, our special recipe blends are made in small batches without the use of perfumes, dyes and artificial fillers, making skincare that feels good to the skin providing rich nourishment from vitamins and healing properties from exotic ingredients
Essential Oils
Lavender. Lavandula Angustifolia.
Derived from the Latin word “lavare” meaning to wash, lavender was the most favored fragrance of the Romans. Lavender is naturally fragrant with skin-softening properties suitable for all skin types. Its aroma soothes and balances, treating skin irritations and toning your outermost layer.
Rosemary. Rosemarinus Officinalis.
Of Spain, rosemary is used to ease mental strain, clear the head and stimulate blood circulation. It helps ease tired, overworked muscles and weak legs by improving circulatory problems, making this a good remedy for low blood pressure.
Ginger. Zingiber Officinale.
Ginger known for its warming and comforting properties, also increases blood circulation, making it especially beneficial for diabetes patients and those with stiff rheumatic joints.
Lemongrass. Cymbopogo Flexuousus.
Derived from Guatemala and organically grown in Ethiopia, the sweet, lemony aroma has been known to stimulate the mind, lift spirits and relieve fatigue. Naturally antiseptic and antibacterial, lemongrass also absorbs oil from the skin.
Tea Tree. Melaluca.
Naturally antibacterial and antifungal, this oil discovered by Australian Aborigines has miraculous healing powers. Treating everything from cold sores, acne, burns, warts, razor bumps to athlete’s foot. Tea tree has been clinically studied and shown to be 100 times more powerful than most other antiseptics.
Eucalyptus. Eucalyptus globulus.
Also known as blue gum and found in China, Eucalyptus’s properties include insecticide, antirheumatic and antiseptic. Camphouous with a woody sweet undertone, the scent can cool emotions and aid concentration.
Peppermint. Menta piperita.
With its refreshing, awakening aroma, peppermint also plays a dual role on the body: cooling when hot and warming when cold. Its has been known as a remedy for colds; it halts mucus and fever. Its cooling and pain-relieving actions ease headache, muscle pains, bruises and insect bites.
Natural Ingredients
Shea Butter.
Also known as karite butter, is rendered from the nut of a West African tree. Used for centuries to treat a variety of skin disorders, this intensive moisturizer contains vitamins A, E and F and is wonderful for healing dry skin, treating blemishes, scars, wrinkles and discoloration and protects from sun and wind.
Oatmeal.
Fine-grained oatmeal works to unclog pores and gently scrubs away dry skin. Exfoliating your face and body with oatmeal regularly is a great way to deeply, yet delicately, cleanse your skin the old-fashioned way.
Honey.
Raw honey contains a host of vitamins and minerals, is naturally antibacterial and antibiotic and never spoils! This natural moisturizer can be used for all skin types and has been known to help invigorate the skin to reduce fine lines as well as treat burns and insect bites.
Green Tea.
Said to be just as beneficial for the skin as it is in the body. Green tea contains polyphenol, antioxidant known to help maintain the skin’s elasticity.
Milk.
Milk is naturally hydrating, reduces skin darkening brought on by the aging process and contains essential proteins, amino acids and vitamin A to nourish the skin.
Aloe Vera.
A member of the lily family, aloe vera is very similar in character to a cactus. Its clear, transparent gel had been used for centuries to heal and sooth damaged, dry skin, treating burns, skin irritations and open wounds.
Jojoba Oil. Simmondsia chinensis.
Has characteristics similar to the makeup of natural human skin oils. Jojoba helps control acne and oily scalp and heals inflamed skin conditions. This oil penetrates deep to soften and moisturize dry or maturing skin.
